BU-KIN
Bu-kin is a children’s footwear brand founded, created, and developed by Laura from the ground up. The brand consisted of leather shoes and accessories all handmade in her Brooklyn studio. After making 200 pairs by hand herself, Laura outsourced production to Amish leather artisans in her hometown of Lancaster, Pennsylvania as a way of giving back to the community in which she grew up. The brand was available to the public via boutique wholesale accounts and direct to consumer.
